Oh baby

I guess by now you know that John and I are having a baby. If not, I guess this site is a huge surprise for you.
So to catch you up, we found out a few weeks before Thanksgiving. I had been feeling bad and pretty much figured I was coming down with a cold. This went on for about a week. And John being John kept joking around saying I was probably pregnant. Of course he likes to say that anytime I’m not feeling too well so I didn’t take him too seriously until i skipped a period. I never miss a period so i knew something was up. So one Friday morning I took an at-home preggers test and wouldn’t you know, it came back sorta inconclusive. Both lines were suppose to be pink. I had one pick line and one very, very faint pink line. So after I panicked I called my OBGYN and they said to wait a week and try a test again, but more than likely I was pregnant.
I have wondered if that is what they tell everyone so that just in case, you change any of your bad habits immediately.
I called John and we waited one very long week to take another test. It was positive. So after a few moments of thinking “Holy Shit” we got over it, started discussing baby names and went to tell all the parents.
