Burt Reynolds Cureton…thats’s my nice way of getting a rise out of people when they ask, “Have you guys thought of any names?”. But on a serious note this is a big responsibility. I mean this child will have this name for the rest of his or her life. And that means a lot of things to be in consideration. First, you can’t give a child a name that can easily be made fun of. No Richards, for example. Second, no names that could be interpreted as either sex (Pat, ,Leslie, Sue, etc) Not that there are anything wrong with these names i just want to spare my child the grief that comes along with one of these names. Third, it can’t sound like a subdivision. That seems to be the trend here lately. For example, is Hunter Glen the next quarterback of the Tigers or a great place to raise a family? And no hippy names ala celebrity (Apple for example) Next i’m not so sure i want to have a child with a common name…..like mine. Unless that is the possiblity of continuing the tradition. (John C Cureton III). And even after all this said these are only my naming griefs. I’m sure Anne shares and these plus has some of her own. So then you have narrowed it down even more when you realize we have to both agree on a name. Alot of pressure indeed. Burt Reynolds Cureton………..
